Back to School

Well I made it safe and sound out to Idaho, it was a super long trip, my old mission companion, now roommate Ladd flew from Vermont to Kentucky to help me drive out, it was great seeing her and being able to show her around Kentucky! We drove straight through, so we were in a car for 26 hours straight!! But I'm glad we did it that way because I hate stopping, its like prolonging the agony. We drove to Logan and stopped for the night at my brothers house, she left me the next morning to spend the weekend with her fiancee in Provo, and I stayed in Logan on Tuesday trying to catch up on my sleep a little, and getting to spend time with my sister-in-law and cute little nephew Jonas!! I was very excited to eat at Cafe Rio for lunch, pretty much one of my favorite places EVER!! Then that night I was able to have dinner at my friend Ericca's house, it was great I hadn't seen her since before my mission, and I love her and her family, they invited me over for dinner and then Ericca and I went to her institute class, I ended the night with her treating me to a really great ice cream place, it was fantastic! I'm so spoiled to have such great friends and family!
So then Wednesday I woke up early in the morning and drove the rest of the way to Rexburg and got to see my cousin Barbara and her husband, they came and helped me unpack my car and then I spent the rest of the day unpacking and getting things all organized!! Then Thursday I had no time for rest, I started classes right away, and I have been going strong ever since! I haven't had time to sit for even a second and just relax!! I started out taking 18 credits, after adding and dropping classes I'm now down to 12, haha and one of them is an online class, so I'm done with class everyday by like 11:15, it is great!! The only thing is all of my classes have a TON of work to do! I'm going to be living in the library this semester, and no one is going to be able to believe that!
I also was able to finally decide on a major, and I'm so excited about it, I am now a Sociology major and I am clustering in Spanish and Child development, I want to be able to work with adoption agencies around the world, more specifically central and south america! I'm really excited and as far as I have figured out I should be done with school by spring of 2012, yeah I know its far away, but hey that is what happens when you dilly dally and can't decide on a major! But I'm hoping school will go by quickly, I'm so ready to be done!!
So talking about school I am so frustrated, well I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and get things done early so I don't have to stress about procrastination and stuff like that, but like I said this week has been crazy and despite my best efforts I find myself falling behind! Well I was so tired last night that I decided to go to bed early, like 9pm early, and I decided to wake up at 5:30am to work on my homework, well much to my surprise I did wake up that early and I went to do my homework only to find out the school website is down, EVERYWHERE!! So I did what I could without the internet, which really isn't much! Then I came on campus hoping things would be different here, no such luck! They say it should be up and running soon, but I'm here in the library waiting for it to come back up, and it still hasn't and my class starts in half an hour! I have my stuff done for this class, but my class right after it is the problem, its my spanish class and the homework usually takes me a couple of hours to do, well I can't even access it, so I'm hoping he doesn't collect the homework today, he says he only collects it every so often but it is always the day you least expect... so I just KNOW with my luck he will decide to collect the homework today! I'm praying hard that he doesn't though!
Well this is a very long post, I guess I didn't realize how much has been going on in my life, and I really haven't even brushed the surface!! One exciting thing is I have a new calling, I was called to be the second counselor in the Relief Society presidency, a little stressful, but well the others in my presidency seem awesome so I'm really excited to work with them! I love living with Ladd, she just got here on monday, and it has been so much fun! I'm also excited for next semester because I'm going to be living with my friend Emily Cotton, probably one of the best people I know!!
Well that is all I have to say for now I guess, heres to a better day today and getting caught up on homework!!
CHAU!!
