5K and halloween fun

So last weekend I went to Logan, it is fast becoming one of my favorite places, with some of my favorite people there!! I got there Friday afternoon, and spent the evening with my brother Paul and his family, they had the missionaries over, and I actually knew one of the missionaries sisters... it was really weird, small world! Then Saturday morning I woke up bright and early and went to pick up one of my best friends, Ericca, and we went to the FSA (families supporting adoption) 5k, now I was just going to support a good cause and get a free t-shirt ;). I had full intentions of just walking the 5k, and my sil Andrea told me that there would be other people walking, no such luck! Ericca and I were the only ones who walked the 5K, so needless to say we ended up dead last, in fact by the time we got back, they were handing out the prizes!! It was fun though, and I had a great time walking with my friend Ericca and catching up on life! So after that I dropped her off at her house and ran back to my brothers house to get cleaned up, and then I was headed over to one of my old roommates houses, Heather. Ericca, Heather and I all lived together our freshman year, I haven't seen Heather since before my mission, and since that time she has had a little baby boy, and is now pregnant with a little girl! It was crazy to see her with her little growing family, and as luck would have it, her twin sister Holly came over, so I got to see her too!! Since the last time I saw her she has gotten married and had a little baby boy as well! It was so much fun catching up and spending time with old friends!! I hope to be able to see them again soon!
We ate lunch at Heathers house, and then we took their boys to a Halloween carnival at USU, it was fun to watch their little boys play together! After that we took them to Lee's grocery store to go trick or treating!! I then had to run back to my brothers house, and as soon as I got there we loaded Jonas up into the car and took him to Macy's to go trick or treating, if anyone is wondering for next year, go to Lee's they have a much better set up for trick or treating! After Macy's we went back to their church building for their trunk or treat, we missed the trick or treating part, but got their just in time for the chili dinner, it was good, and Jonas had a good time running around in his cute Dragon costume! After the trunk or treat we took him around the neighborhood to go trick or treating the old fashioned way! He really understood the meaning of Halloween, after every house he would say, get more!!!
After all the trick or treating fun Andrea and I took him over to her mom's house (so I could drop off my laundry:)) and then after spending some time there we left to go to walmart to do real grocery shopping, it was a fun experience with Jonas running circles around us all hopped up on sugar-- it was a great form of birth control ;)!! We got home late, and I went straight to bed. The next morning, Sunday we spent our time before church cooking a bunch of meals for me to freeze and take back to school with me, I'm really happy about this because now I have meals to eat and I don't have to worry about doing any cooking!! After church we finished cooking the meals and then I loaded up my car and we headed over to Andrea's parents house for dinner, after dinner all the kids dressed up in their costumes and went "trick or treating" around the house!! I unfortunately couldn't stay to watch, but when I left all the kids were running around the house like crazy people! It looked like a lot of fun! But I had to head on back to Rexburg :(!! I'm already trying to figure out when I can make it back to Logan!!
For those of you who don't know, as of right now my plan is to move to Logan once I finish with school! I'm hoping to finish all my classes in the summer of 2012, and then I will do an internship in Logan the fall semester, then I will graduate in December of 2012, then hopefully wherever I did my internship I can get a job through them, and I will stay there in Logan and start my masters program the following fall semester! I really hope this all works out! I'm really looking forward to it! I'm really excited because when I move to Logan I will either be getting a place of my own, or I will live with just one or 2 other people, which will be such a nice change from living with 6 girls!
This past weekend there has been some major drama in my apartment, I still don't even really understand what happened! And as I was thinking about it, I realized I NEVER had drama with my roommate Kim, and it was just me and her that lived together, so I count down the days until I no longer have to live in an apartment with so many girls!!
All I can say is this semester can't end fast enough!! When I come back to Rexburg in the summer, I will be living with just 3 other girls, hopefully there will be less drama!!
Welp I should probably end this, I have procrastinated doing my homework for long enough!!
