So I was thinking this was going to be the best semester EVER!! Well I think I overloaded my plate a little too much!! I'm starting to feel like I'm drowning in all the stuff I have to do. It seems like all my classes have a ton of stuff due all this week and next, hopefully this means after I get past these next few weeks it will be a lot easier. The problem is just getting past these next few weeks!! I will spare you all the sob story of my life, lets just say it has been rough this past week! I'm just wanting the semester to be over and I can go home to Kentucky and not have to worry about anything, except for my online class and trying to find a way to get experience in the social work field!!
I keep telling myself, only 3 more years and I'm done with school!! I have a year left until I graduate with my bachelors, and then another 2 years of grad school and then I'm done, but after this week I'm wondering if I have it in me!! Can't I just quit ;).
So this past weekend I went to Utah and had fun visiting 2 college campuses to see where I might want to go to grad school, much to my dismay I fell in love with the BYU campus. I was bound and determined to hate BYU and not want to go there at all. Well that is just not the case, I just LOVED the social work building, and love the location of it, I met a few of the faculty and saw the projects they are working on and just feel like it would be a great fit! Also it is the cheapest option, and would totally open up doors to work for the church, which is something I would love to do! The only thing about that is I have to be very competitive, so that means I can't slack off in any of my classes!! The social work program only accepts 30 people into their program each year, so I have to make sure I have the BEST letter of intent, and letters of recommendation, lots of social work experience and good grades, no pressure right??
Well right now I've decided to take a break, and I painted my nails, and am having a fun movie night with my roommate, it feels good to just do something fun for once!! I will pay for it tomorrow when I'm in the library all day working on the millions of things I have to turn in on Monday and Tuesday, but hey no big deal right?? I do have the best visiting teacher though, she brought me a cut up apple, carrots, broccoli, and fruit sticks because she heard I was having a bad day and wanted to bring me a treat but not break my diet!! Totally made my night!!
One last thing, my brother and his wife's adoption profile is up, so hopefully I will be getting more than one new niece or nephew soon!! check out their profile and share it with anyone and everyone that might know someone looking to place their baby for adoption, I might be biased but I think they are the best!! https://www.itsaboutlove.org/ial/profiles/23971881/ourMessage.jsf

Back to the Grind
Sorry for the lack of posting the past couple of weeks, they have been busy ones for me!!
Here is a quick catch up, I had a GREAT last week in Argentina, I got to do most of the things I wanted to do!! I was said to say goodbye to some people, and sorry to say I was happy to say goodbye to other people! My internship in Argentina was definitely an eye opening experience, and I'm so grateful I was able to have it!
When I got home I was so busy, I was only home for a few days, and in that time I visited all my immediate family in KY, and help in any way I could. My first day back in the states I got a phone call from one of the jobs I had applied to, asking if I could do a phone interview. Well long story short, I got the job!!! I was so excited because it is a campus job, so I am free weekends and nights!! So far I really like the job, it isn't really that exciting, I just answer phones all day, but the people I work with are a lot of fun!!
So it looked like everything was coming together for the perfect semester! I got out here and moved in, I'm all settled into my apartment and decided I didn't want to move EVER AGAIN!! So I'm staying in this apartment until I graduate or get married. I have good roommates, I really don't have anything complain about them, but of course it has only been a week :).
Well in my first week back I got a call from my bishop... can anyone guess what my calling is??? RELIEF SOCIETY PRESIDENT!!!! Really me?? I'm so not qualified for this calling! I was sort of expecting it because I was getting a lot of feelings about that calling, I was just hoping I was wrong, I have almost no free time as it is!! Because on top of that I have another job, all I do is lock the lounge door at curfew here in my apartment complex, not a big deal, but it does make me stay up later than normal! So this semester is for sure going to be the BUSIEST AND CRAZIEST semester of my life!! I ended up dropping a class because I just felt like I couldn't do it all. Because here are all the things on my plate these next 3 months: Relief Society President, 12 credits, 2 jobs, and I'm participating in the Biggest Winner.
For those of you who don't know what the biggest winner is, it is a competition here on campus that is just like biggest loser, so yeah I have that on top of everything else!! I think it will be a really fun semester, as long as I can keep myself sane!!
I had a great Easter weekend, and I hope everyone else did too!! And well I probably won't be posting very often this semester as I have no time!! If I do post it will be because I'm procrastinating doing my homework... like I'm doing right now!!

TANGO!!!
Ok so the first day of my last week here in Argentina was FANTASTIC!!! I went to caminito in La Boca here in Argentina, it is supposedly the oldest area of Argentina. I have wanted to go for a long time, but just never had the chance! Well today the sister missionaries got permission to go to caminito with me, so we went for their p-day!! It was so much more fun than I ever expected!! I wish I had gone early so I would have time to go more before going home!! There you can take pictures with Tango dancers, and there are a bunch of people just dancing tango, a lot of the restaurants have tango dancers and everything, it is really cool!!
Well I of course wanted a picture pretending I knew how to dance tango, it was a lot of fun, but really intense... pretty much full body contact in that dance!! I was a little uncomfortable!! Well after that we walked around and took a lot of pictures. My camera broke I'm not sure what happened, but now it won't turn on, it says there is a lens error!! I'm hoping it is just being tempermental, and will work tomorrow!!
Well we decided to get something to eat, and choose one of the restaurants that had tango shows. Well while we were eating I realized they would pick people out of the crowd randomly to dance tango... I thought it looked fun, but not for me!! Well we had finished eating and were waiting for the ticket, all of a sudden the guy came up and asked one of us to dance, or a picture or something! The hermanas were like oh well we can't!! So he looked at me and I said, well my camera broke so I can't take a picture, and he said well that can't stop you from dancing!! Well I didn't have much choice! So I got up and danced a song with him, it was really funny because I told him I couldn't dance, and he said he would teach me!! I was pretty embarrased because I have NO coordination!! But it was really fun!! I think I want to learn how to dance the tango now!! I'm addicted, all I have to do is find myself a really cute dance partner ;).
After all that excitement I went mission clothes shopping with Nico!! He leaves in a month!! I can't believe how fast time is passing!! Well I hope the rest of my week here in Argentina goes just as well as today went!!
Below are a few pics from caminito!!

LAST WEEK!!!!
Wow I am getting ready to start my very last week in Argentina!! Yesterday I had my last day of volunteering, and so this next week I will be spending it doing and seeing and buying all the things I have wanted to do, see, and buy my whole time here!! I thought I would be sad to leave Argentina, but I am actually really excited to be heading home! I ready to get back to my life back home, I'm ready to go back to school... I can see the end... I'm ready to just finish!!
So yesterday I went and got a massage! I was pretty excited, massages here are so cheap, one hour is 100 pesos... which is like 25 dollars!! So I don't usually like to talk while getting a massage, I like to relax, well my masseuse started asking me questions about why I speak Spanish so well and stuff like that. Well I told her I was a missionary in Argentina for a year and a half and that is how I learned Spanish, well then she wanted to know more about my church. Turns out I basically taught her the first lesson, while I was getting a massage!! I think that tops my weirdest place to teach a discussion! She said she wanted to know more, I didn't have any pass along cards, so I just wrote down the mormon.org website and left it for her! Maybe she will look into it, who knows!!
Well I'm excited to enjoy my last week to the maximum, then come home!! Hopefully I will be able to see and do everything I want to see and do in my last week!!

Time Flies
Its been a little while since I've posted something. Its really because I haven't had anything really exciting to post. The past couple of weeks I have just been volunteering and doing homework. I have had fun visiting my old areas from my mission, and seeing all the members and people I used to work with. My time here in BsAs is coming to an end, which is so crazy to me! I will be home in 2 weeks, and then back to Idaho very soon after that!!
I am very excited to announce that my favorite part about March, is March Madness, and for the first time in a WAY TOO LONG TIME!! Kentucky has made it to the FINAL FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited, and I really really hope they win it all!
Well this is all I got for now, I better get back to doing some homework!!

I love to see the temple
So this past weekend I went to Uruguay again, this time I just went with Monica, it wasn't a stake trip. I was really excited, but also nervous, because I had never done this kind of traveling before, and I had no idea really how to get to the temple, because I had been with the stake before and they had organized everything.
Thursday we left to go to Uruguay, all day I was super busy and stressed out of my mind! Finally night time came and Monica got to my apartment, and we left. After waiting for a little while we got on the boat and we were off!! I couldn't really believe we were finally going to the temple!! We had been trying to do this for a long time!! While on the boat I saw some people I thought I recognized, they looked like members. Well when we got off the boat they were all headed to the same bus, I found out who the lady in charge was and asked if we could ride with them, because their bus was going straight to the temple, where as we would have to take several different buses to find our way. At first the lady in charge said no, that there was no room, then she said there was room, but not very much. After a long time of going back and forth she finally said there was only one seat, so we walked away to find a different bus. Then she came up to us and said there were actually 2 seats. We were so happy and went back, because we had no idea how to get to the temple otherwise. When we climbed up unto the bus we saw that there were actually 4 or more seats available, but whatever at least we got a seat!!
After a long and exhausting trip through the night we finally made it to the temple, got our room and had time to shower and get ready, no rest for the weary! Turns out when I paid for the room in BsAs, it didn't show up in the system in Uruguay, and I didn't bring the receipt with me and they were saying I would have to pay again, I was a little frustrated, it really isn't a lot of money, but still the fact that I would have to pay twice really annoyed me. Luckily the guy sent an email to the people in BsAs and they found my transaction so I didn't have to pay twice!
Finally we got to the temple, and it was AMAZING!! Monica absolutely loved it, and it was just a really special experience. I think this is one of the most amazing things to experience as a return missionary, to see your converts in the temple!!
After the temple one of my friends from the mission who lives close by came to the session and invited us over for lunch. So we went to his house and ate lunch and then he showed us around Montevideo a little bit. We were both so exhausted so we didn't do much, but we did go to the beach!! I was so excited, I love the beach, we had fun walking in the sand and getting our feet wet!
Monica and I were both so tired after not getting much sleep so we went back to the hostel and ended up going to bed at like 9:30!! That was good though because we woke up at like 5:30 because we wanted to make it for the first session of the day, which was at 7! We made it just in time and loved every minute of it. After that we went back to our room and got everything packed and ready to go, then ate lunch. As we were eating lunch I saw one of my mission companions walk by. I couldn't believe it! I jumped up and ran to say hi to her, I have now seen all of my mission comps except one!!
Finally we headed back to BsAs, but not without a few problems first of course!! We were almost left by the bus, then we finally got to the boat, and once we were all on the boat and just waiting for it to leave we heard a big crash and the whole boat started shaking. I thought we hit an iceberg!!! haha ok not really, we were still docked, but everyone went running to the front of the boat to see what happened, after waiting for a few minutes to see what happened someone finally announced that a car had crashed into the port door as it was being loaded on the boat and they were trying to fix it. After waiting for 3 hours they finally called for a boat from BsAs to come get us so we could go home. All in all we were supposed to get him at like 9:30 or 10pm, we didn't get home until 2:30am. Below is a pic of our broken boat!
There were a lot of ups and downs about this trip, but so totally worth it, and to be honest everything worked out in the end!!
I'm so grateful for the restored gospel on the earth today!!!

USHUAIA!!!
Well to say Ushuaia was amazing, wonderful, best trip ever... would really be an understatement!!! I can't describe enough how much I LOVED Ushuaia!! I can't wait for the day that I can go back to Ushuaia!! It really was the best trip I have been on until now, and I have been on a lot of trips!! Ushuaia took over London on favorite place ever!!
It started out crazy and ended crazy! My plane left at 5am and like the ticket said I got to the airport 2 hours early, they told me I had to check my bag which I didn't want to do, and after I checked it I realized that I left my camera in my bag, and so I was afraid it would get stolen and I would never see it again. Then I went upstairs to go through security, and after giving Nicolas a hug and saying goodbye I went to go to security and the guy working there said hey its closed until 4:30am. I couldn't believe it and he just laughed, so I went back downstairs with Nico and he being a great friend waited with me until 4:30, when everything opened. I finally went back to my gate and waited to take my flight! The flight was pretty good until the very end, the last 30 minutes was spent flying through the worst turbulence i have ever experienced. Unfortunately the girl sitting next to me couldn't handle it and used her barf bag... it was oh so delightful!! Finally we landed, I got my suitcase back, and thankfully my camera was still there!!
So I walk out expecting to see my friend waiting for me... no one was there!! I waited for an hour, and finally decided to try and find her number, so I called the missionaries in Almagro, who gave me the missionaries number in Ushuaia, I called them and they called my friend for me!! So after waiting for two and a half hours in the airport my friend finally showed up!! So like I said it started off with a bang!! But all fun adventures!!
It would take too long to go into all the details of my trip, but some highlights are I finally got to see the penguins in South America, I've fulfilled my dream of going to the end of the world, I ate lamb cooked on a stake by the fire, did lots of hiking and saw some really beautiful landscapes!! Basically overall AMAZING!!!
So like I said it ended with a bang, my plane was supposed to leave at 10am... I overslept and woke up at 9am. I didn't think I would make it to the airport in time, but thankfully i made it and to my plane just in the nick of time!! Someone was really watching out for me!!
If you want to see my pics from Ushuaia just check out my facebook page... they are all up there!!
I suggest everyone go to Ushuaia sometime in their life!!!
